How quickly can you get started on my project?
For home repairs and improvements, we can often schedule an on-site assessment within 48–72 hours, depending on current demand and project scope.
For decluttering, organizing, light home staging, and home management projects, we typically book 1–2 weeks in advance. However, we do our best to accommodate urgent timelines whenever possible — particularly for seasonal cottage opening and pre-listing preparation requests.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Simple Joyous Home accepts e-transfer and cheques. For larger renovation or staging projects, a deposit is required to secure your dates on our calendar.
Do I need to be home during the service?
For home repairs and improvements, decluttering and organizing, or staging days, many clients choose to provide access via key code or lockbox — particularly for cottage properties throughout Muskoka and Simcoe County.
Is there a cancellation fee?
We understand that circumstances can arise. We respectfully request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This ensures we can accommodate other clients within Muskoka and Simcoe County who may be awaiting availability.
